Signs of the times in the U.S.: Post Office announcements

Something kind of pedestrian that's indicative of life in the United States. I went into my local post office today and saw a notice that read "Due to budget cuts we can no longer offer tape to Post Office customers". The mighty U.S. Post Office can't offer tape for people with packages.

In the front of the post office were two posters, one advertizing a "Victims Justice Week", translationg "Hang 'em High Week", sponsored by the Department of Justice, and next to it a poster specifically encouraging business owners to become involved with the post office through a local consumers' council.
