Yay! Sotomayor confirmed!
Thank goodness the screams of the right wing weren't able to stop this....and the vote was 68-31, indicating that it wasn't something that Republican Senators truly wanted a showdown over.

I come here from the anarchist blog aggregator, but you're happy to see a statist, anti-freedom judge.
Why does it matter if they're 'left' or 'right' wing? The net effect is the same if you have a right wing or left wing judge - hierarchy, unjust authority over others, a clamping down on freedom and liberty.
Given Sotomayor's stated anti-freedom beliefs I find it hard to feel anything positive about her appointment.
Okay, then lets talk about it. How is Sotomayor statist and anti freedom?
